Arizona Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center is looking for Veterinary Technician Specialists to join our team. We are a high volume 24-hour emergency service, located in Gilbert, Arizona. Work alongside our four Critical Care Specialists, while utilizing your advanced skills. At AVECCC you will have the opportunity to expand your clinical proficiency while sharing your experience with others in areas such as placing multi-lumen catheters, nasogastric tubes, male and female urinary catheters, arterial lines, esophagostomy tubes, and even assisting with placement of subcutaneous ureteral bypass devices, just to name a few!
AVECC offers Prismaflex – Renal replacement therapy, ventilator management, F.A.S.T. scan, a defibrillator, and advanced anesthetic monitoring equipment as some of the tools used to support the exceptional level of medicine and optimal patient care we deliver.

Qualifications: Veterinary Technician Specialist (ECC preferred), Certified Veterinary Technician in Arizona (or eligible). Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to critically think and maintain a positive attitude in a fast paced environment. The desire to continually advance your knowledge and skills is essential.
Job duties include, but are not limited to: triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of enteral and parenteral medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
