We are a client-centered and community-minded practice. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus! We have about 30% of our clients who would prefer to speak Spanish. To be truly client-focused we need Spanish speaking staff to accommodate them. Modern Facility We opened our new facility in 2016 to house our fast-paced hospital with a practice of excellence philosophy. Please see our website for photos. We offer digital radiology (DR), digital dental radiology, ultrasound, video otoscope, high speed dental equipment, therapy laser, isoflurane/sevoflurane, chemistry and CBC analysis, tonometry pen, IV fluid pumps, syringe pump, pulse oximeters, CO2 monitors, EKG monitors, patient warming system, blood pressure monitors and computerized records. Position Info, Pay, Schedule and Benefits We have a four-day or a four-and-a-half-day workweek. Requirements · A positive and self-motivated attitude · Desire to provide exceptional customer service and to care for pets · Graduate of an American Veterinary Medical Association Accredited Veterinary Technology Program or two years of experience in a veterinary hospital. We will consider training the exceptional applicant to work as a veterinary assistant. · Valid driver’s license · Willingness to work hard · Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, start at 7:30 a.m., and work some evening hours · Understands the physical and health related risks inherent to working with pets · Able to work as a member of a team as well as being self-motivated to work individually at times · Be able to physically lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) repetitively, restrain large dogs, cats, birds and exotic pets, walk large dogs using a leash |
