Job Description- Mixed animal ambulatory practice covering 100-mile radius in the Pee Dee Region of South Carolina. Services offered included: internal medicine, surgery, shelter medicine, herd health, preventative care/general practice, dentistry, and theriogenology. Species served include: cats (30%), dogs (35%), equine (10%), small ruminant (goats and sheep)(9%), swine (production and pet) (8%),bovine (beef and dairy) (5%), avian (chickens, turkeys, ducks, and parrots)(1%), camelids (camels, llamas, and alpacas)(1%), and exotic/zoological animals (monkeys, zebras, elephants, tigers/lions, kangaroos, emus/ostrich, reptiles, etc)(1%). Vettersoftware.com is the cloud-based veterinary practice program. The following diagnostics are offered ultrasound, x-ray, in-house/reference laboratory bloodwork options, and microscopic evaluation.
Workdays- Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm, Saturday: 9:30am-12:30pm, Sunday: emergency only. Rotating weekend duties with 2-3 days off on rotated weeks.

Location- Optional small town or big city (Columbia, SC to Florence, SC) with home base in Sumter, SC. Close to multiple military bases, beaches, lakes, rivers, mountains, parks, hiking, biking, walking/riding trails.
