We opened our doors in 2016 after an extensive remodel, and we've created a lovely workspace in which to treat our amazing clients. Excellent communication and client education skills with our clients are a must. 30 minute appointments are the norm to ensure you have the time you need to properly examine, treat, and communicate with our clients their pets' needs. We have a great support staff, licensed technicians and a friendly work environment.
Work in a well-equipped full service hospital facility which includes in-house blood machines, tono-pen, fluid pumps, blood pressure monitors, pulse-oximetry, high speed dental equipment, digital dental radiography, digital radiography, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, cautery and more. We emphasize preventive medicine, thorough workups, and a friendly relationship with our clients.
Your daily duties while performing high quality veterinary medicine include:
- Performing examinations with patients and clients and outlining treatment and diagnostics to clients and setting a treatment plan for support staff
- Discussing estimates and treatment options with clients Maintaining detailed digital medical records in a timely manner
- Explaining test results to clients in a personable approach and discussing all follow up care
- Completing all callbacks before leaving the premises.
- All communication with clients must be done with a friendly and patient approach, and all clients should feel their questions have been answered thoughtfully.
- Communicating patient follow up with other veterinarians in practice Providing leadership to staff by conducting yourself professionally and personably
As a 2006 graduate I plan on providing strong mentorship to a new graduate. Come live and practice in classic Brownstone Brooklyn with clients who desire the best for their pets.
