Mixed practice in central NC seeks small animal and/or mixed animal veterinarian:
Tri-County Veterinary Service has provided high quality care for companion and farm animals in our community for over 50 years. We are seeking a part/full time small animal or mixed animal veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest and skill in small animal surgery and dentistry. Our staff includes three veterinarians, four registered veterinary technicians and an amazing support team, all with low staff turnover. Our clientele is diverse and our caseload is interesting and varied. We foster a work environment that offers each doctor the freedom to practice and nurture their interests, while maintaining a good work-life balance. Full time work week consists of 4 days, and rotating Saturday.
Our facility features digital radiography, dental radiography and CR radiography for ambulatory calls. We have a fully equipped in-house lab, anesthetic monitoring equipment, new ultrasound, therapeutic laser and a haul-in large animal area. Our large animal practice includes horses, beef & dairy cattle, small ruminants and even pigs and poultry. After hours emergency responsibilities are limited to large animal patients and shared evenly among our mixed practice DVMs. Several referral practices are convenient to our area allowing us to smoothly refer emergencies and complicated cases.
We offer competitive salary, commensurate with experience, as well as a signing bonus. Other benefits include CE stipend, licensure, disability and liability insurance, professional memberships, health insurance and IRA. Mixed animal practitioners are well compensated for after-hours emergency duty. We have long experience mentoring doctors, whether new graduates or experienced DVMs looking for new challenges. Future practice ownership possible.
