     We have both full-time positions available for a Veterinary Technician with a minimum of three years experience.  Our staff strives to develop a solid and lasting bond between our clients and their companion animals. We are a full-service companion animal hospital established in 1980, with a very loyal clientele. We pride ourselves on long-standing client relationships. 
     Our veterinary technician/assistant team assists our three veterinarians in providing state-of-the-art care to clients' pets by using our inpatient laboratory facility, digital radiography equipment for dental and full-body X-rays monitoring the vital functions of surgical and critical patients. We also utilize telecommunications for ECGs or radiographic consultations. We consult and refer to several referral specialists and hospitals when needed. Your responsibilities include managing outpatient appointments, inpatient care, and assessment, assisting in diagnostics such as radiography and laboratory testing, medication management, surgical care and recovery, and client education. Brooklyn Veterinary Hospital's team prides itself on its teamwork.
     Each member of our team assists and supports their teammates in meeting the various demands of veterinary medicine. These demands may range from receptionist duties and veterinary nursing care to routine cleaning and kennel chores within the hospital. We are open Monday through Saturday, with no after-hours emergency call. All the staff shares a rotating weekend call requirement.
