MEDICAL DIRECTOR OR ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN
Noah’s Ark Veterinary & Boarding Resort is a privately-owned facility. Nestled between Baltimore and Annapolis, MD, the hospital is a thriving 3-4 doctor practice. Our #1 priority is the work/life balance our schedule and feedback helped us create.
The Medical Director position is an ideal next step to further your career. If you have 3+ years of clinical and surgical experience, please consider a full, or part-time position at Noah’s Ark, as our Medical Director. Responsibilities include outpatient/inpatient care, surgery, dental extractions and organizing monthly doctor meetings.
If you are considering an Associate Veterinarian position, either full-time or part-time, new graduates are welcome. Our veterinary staff will help you comfortably ease into your new position. Responsibilities include outpatient/inpatient care, surgery, and dental extractions.
Noah’s is home to a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic tools that include but are not limited to: a comprehensive in-house laboratory (and outside use of IDEXX and Antech labs), surgical laser, cold laser therapy, ultrasonograhy, tonovet, state-of-the-art anesthetic monitoring equipment, digital dental and general radiography, Cornerstone software, five spacious exam rooms, check-out stations in each exam room, expansive in-house and on-line pharmacy and separate surgical and dental suites.
Our philosophy is that excellent medical and surgical care occurs by providing doctors with a well-trained staff, which allows them to spend the time needed caring for patients and clients. This includes two technicians at all times during any surgical/dental procedure and ‘by the book’ monitoring and recordkeeping by our trained staff. Appointment patients are ready for you only after technicians manage history and preliminary technical procedures that do not require your time.
