Job Description:
Smith Veterinary Hospital in Berne, Indiana is currently looking to add a Registered Veterinary Technician to our amazing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing small animal practice that has a hometown feel but also offers gold standard medicine. We are seeking an individual who has a professional, cheerful, and helpful attitude. He or She should be able to assist us in our mission to help keep pets healthy and clients educated on how to provide the best care for their pets. Our services include Surgery, Medicine, Reproduction, Wellness and Emergency care. We offer full in-house bloodwork, digital radiology and ultrasonography. As part of the team, your duties will include but not limited to, tech appointments, general anesthesia, pet restraint, answering/returning client calls, drug calculations, collect/process lab samples, equipment maintenance and preparation. You must be able to safely restrain patients and keep a good attitude. Compensation will be determined based off of experience but will range between 18-25$/hr. Berne is a charming Swiss community in the midst of growth and a future filled with expectation. It is the furniture capital of Indiana. Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- RVN/RVT degree (if not licensed in Indiana we will help with that)

- Excels in client communication and patient care
Physical Demands:
- Tasks requires walking, crouching and standing for prolonged times
- Able to lift 50lbs
