Pet Health began in 2014 with the idea that both pet parents and veterinary professionals were looking for something different—something better. Since then, we have followed our unique business philosophy and solid foundation of core values in providing outstanding care. We also have strived to reinvent and modernize the traditional veterinary experience. 

For pet parents, the Pet Health experience involves a personalized approach. Our 60-minute appointments start on time. Recommendations are always tailored to meet each pet’s individual needs. Visual presentations help educate about both wellness and disease conditions. And we provide extensive communication and follow-up.

For our veterinary professionals, the Pet Health experience means more than the ability to focus on providing high-quality care with our support staff. We spend more time getting to know our pet parents and patients. That makes workdays more manageable and enjoyable.

More Time With Pet Parents and Patients
One of the most important aspects of the Pet Health experience is the time our doctors spend with pet parents and pet patients.

All our appointments are scheduled for one hour. This allows us to obtain a thorough history and examination of the pet, discuss different diagnostic and treatment recommendations, and make sure all of our pet parent’s questions have been answered. Also, we limit our daily anesthetic and surgical procedures to provide adequate monitoring and maximize safety for our pet patients.

Exceptional Support Staff
At Pet Health, we believe an educated and trained support staff is imperative for our veterinary associates be great doctors. Each doctor has a dedicated assistant who helps better manage the day. They assist with appointments, callbacks, electronic charting, as well as putting together estimates and treatment plans. Five licensed veterinary technicians handle our anesthetic procedures to allow our doctors to concentrate on doctor-specific duties. 

We also have weekly staff “tune-ups” and monthly staff training. Topics relate to pet insurance, preventive care, teamwork, and client communication. This keeps our message and brand consistent and everyone updated with the latest ideas to improve our practice.

Great Pet Parents and Pet Insurance 
We feel Pet Health has the best pet parents in Las Vegas. We have created an environment where trust and teamwork exist between the pet parents and staff. It’s based on a consistent treatment approach and the simple philosophy of what we would do for our own pets. Since most of our pet parents have pet insurance, our team can provide thorough workups and comprehensive treatment with fewer financial limitations.

Work to Live
At Pet Health we value our employees’ work and personal lives! Our type of practice helps maintain a more organized and efficient day. We avoid ancillary services such as walk-in appointments, grooming, overnight hospitalized pets and boarding.

We also strive to support the need for personal fulfillment by providing flexible scheduling options. No one has emergency duties. The office is closed on Sundays. And our veterinarians work one Saturday shift every third week. Our associate veterinarians work an average of 15 days per month.
