All Paws Animal Hospital in St. Louis Park, Minnesota is hiring a full-time experienced Veterinarian to join our practice!

About our clinic: All Paws Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited full-service small animal practice offering the best in medical, surgical, and customer care. In addition to traditional services, we offer acupuncture and chemotherapy. We utilize the services of two mobile radiologists who come in routinely to perform our diagnostic ultrasounds and echocardiograms. We use AVImark for our electronic medical record software. All of our rooms contain computers and our technicians are well trained to take clients into the exam room, get a history and TPR, and put notes into AVImark. We also have one exam room reserved for our feline patients. Furthermore, every doctor is well-supported by technicians and assistants in appointments and in surgery. We are lucky to have a wonderful support staff who are committed, hardworking, and we empower them to do what they are trained to do. To round out the group, our practice manager, Laurie, keeps us all on track and our practice running smoothly.

At All Paws, our doctors perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry. Our surgery suite contains cryosurgery, electrocautery, and VetSpecs monitoring equipment. We also have a great working relationship with board-certified surgeon, Dr. Scott Hammel, who comes in as needed for orthopedic procedures. Our dental equipment includes the iM3 dental unit with high and low speed handpieces and dental radiography. We require full mouth radiographs for every patient, as well as local anesthesia nerve blocks. All our patients undergoing anesthesia are required to have pre-op lab work, receive an IV catheter, IV fluids, and are carefully monitored and recovered by our skilled technicians. Surgeries are performed Monday through Friday and the doctor in surgery performs surgeries all day. We are ideally looking for someone with a strong interest in surgery and dentistry.

Our practice is open Monday – Friday, 8 am to 6 pm and Saturdays, 9 am to 1 pm. The schedule we are looking to fill is a 4-day work week with alternating Saturdays. There are no on-call responsibilities. You can learn more about our incredible practice at allpawsvets.com.

Ideal qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Minnesota Veterinary License – active and in good standing

• Interest and experience in surgery and dentistry
