Southern Veterinary Center is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team!

Southern Veterinary Center is located in Smyrna TN, which is a growing city just 30 miles from Nashville, TN! We are a 4 full time equivalent DVM practice with 4 licensed technicians and highly skilled veterinary assistants and receptionists. The position would involve working 4 full days a week and a half day on Saturdays, in rotation.

We pride ourselves in building long term relationships with our patients and their owners while providing them with excellent, compassionate care. If you are an experienced veterinarian who wants to practice at a high level and continue to be challenged to improve, this is the hospital for you. We encourage you to apply if you have an interest in general medicine, and hope to find a doctor with an interest or experience in ultrasound. 3 years of experience is preferred, but all experience levels will be considered. Surgery is not required for the position. We are a high-volume practice with a varied case load and will keep you busy! We also have excellent relationships with specialists in the area who perform orthopedic surgery on premises and are available for consult.

Our facility is equipped with a spacious surgical suite with an anesthetic ventilator, a Vet Logic ultrasound machine, a wet table, five exam rooms, a large treatment area, Idexx lab suite with Sedivue, Idexx digital radiology and digital dental radiology, and a large working pharmacy. Our exam rooms are fully equipped and have a computer in each room.
