About UVS

Upstate Veterinary Specialties, PLLC is a growing, privately-owned specialty and emergency practice located in upstate New York.  As a privately owned hospital, the practice owners are active clinicians who take a team approach to manage the hospital.  They make themselves accessible to the staff and are dedicated to making UVS the ideal veterinary practice for employees.

Our leadership, administration teams, doctors, and medical staff work together in a collaborative environment to achieve our mission - helping pets live longer, happier lives through expert medical care and compassionate client service. We are a large team of dedicated professionals and take pride in being a leader in comprehensive specialty and emergency healthcare for pets.

Due to our increasing caseload, we are seeking full-time Emergency Clinicians to join our existing team of board-certified specialists including:

Our clinicians are supported by highly educated licensed veterinary technicians, including one VTS (cardiology), assistants, client relations specialists, and administrative staff.

Our Facility

In 2021, we expanded our custom-built hospital, adding another 16,000 square feet, to our current 24,000 square foot facility.  Our hospital also includes a 1.5T MRI, 64 slice CT scanner with power injector, digital x-ray, underwater treadmill, multi-parameter telemetry, endoscopy suite, multiple surgery suites, full diagnostic laboratory, in-house pharmacy, and everything else you could want to practice high-quality medicine.
