Animal Hospital at Auburn Hills, located in Wichita, Kansas, is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our amazing team!

About our clinic: Animal Hospital at Auburn Hills is a full-service small animal practice, offering the best in medical and surgical care. Our medical director, Dr. Gary Stamps, a proud K-State grad, founded the practice in 2008 and has been providing exceptional care to the Wichita community since then. We have a fantastic reputation and great clientele! We use Cornerstone for our electronic medical record software. Our doctors at Animal Hospital at Auburn Hills perform a variety of soft tissue surgeries and dentistry. Our surgery suite contains a heated surgical table, Bair Hugger, and monitoring equipment. Our dental equipment includes a dental machine with high and low speed handpieces and digital dental radiography. Pre-op lab work, IV catheters, and IV fluids are required for every patient undergoing general anesthesia. Most importantly, we have phenomenal support staff who are crucial to the success of patient and client care. Every doctor is well-supported by technicians and assistants (2-3 techs: doctor) in appointments and in surgery and three of our technicians are certified.

Our practice is open Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5:30 pm, with a 90-minute break mid-day where EVERYONE gets a lunch break, and Saturday, 8 am to 11 am. We strongly promote work/life balance, offering a 4-day work week with rotating Saturdays and no on-call requirements! Dr. Stamps has worked hard to build and maintain a positive, supportive practice culture, leading to a pleasant work environment where everyone gets along well and genuinely enjoy working together and spending time together outside of work. Our team just went on an outing to the zoo and Dr. Stamps and his wife Stacey are hosting a baby shower at their house for one of their employees. Ideal qualifications:

• All experience levels considered, but one year of experience preferred
• Kansas Veterinary License – active and in good standing
