As a Veterinary Technician, you will work with the veterinarian to care for, exam, and treat pets. Your duties will include assisting with animal exams and surgeries, performing various laboratory tests and maintaining medical records. We're looking for a person who is extremely organized, very good at prioritizing tasks, and enjoys working as part of a team to ensure that patients get the care they need.

Responsibilities:

• Understand veterinary science and customer service.
• Communicate clearly with veterinarians and other staff members.
• Diagnose illness and injury in animals and suggest clinical treatments.
• Maintain the cleanliness of exam rooms and kennels.
• Prepare animals for veterinary exams, vaccinations, and surgery.
• Oversee the care of animals in boarding facilities.
• Be able to care for sick, injured or orphaned wildlife or domestic animals.
• Provide technical support to veterinarians during surgery.
• Assist with medical treatments, procedures, post-operative monitoring/care, euthanasia, or laboratory work

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift

• 4x10
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
