Cedar Creek Animal Clinic in Port Orchard, WA is looking for an associate veterinarian to join our patient care team. We would ideally love a full-time veterinarian but would absolutely consider part-time arrangements. Our ideal candidate would have strong surgical, dental, and ultrasound skills, or an eagerness to learn. Although we are currently exclusive to dogs and cats, we would be happy to expand to include exotics if a veterinarian expressed an interest.
Our hospital was established in 2013 with the goal of offering the best veterinary care possible for our community. We currently employ two veterinarians but are really a 3-doctor small animal practice. Our veterinarians have been working in the field for 23 years each with the technicians averaging 35 years and the assistants with about 14 years.
We use fear free practices with our patients and multiple team members are fear free certified. We are proud to have a veterinary technician specialist in dentistry. Many of our support staff have been with us for years and turnover is low. Let our talented team of assistants, technicians, and customer service representatives support you in providing excellent patient care for our community.
Impressive views of the Olympic Mountains and pristine waterfront make Port Orchard a picturesque town. We are located on the Sinclair Inlet, a short fast-ferry ride to Seattle. Opportunities abound for boating, water activities, hiking, motor sports, camping, and wildlife viewing in the Olympic Peninsula.
Our benefits package includes 401(k), medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, uniform allowance, veterinary service discount for your pets, as well as continuing education, and an annual discretionary fund.
We are part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare veterinary community which offers a sign-on bonus and the opportunity to enroll in the Veterinary Incentive Plan. VIP is an industry first program that gives veterinarians the ability to share in the company's long-term growth and success.
