Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital is looking to add an experienced or internship trained Emergency Veterinarian with potential interest for pursuing a cardiology specialty career in the future.
Come join our ER team and as part of your schedule you will have committed time in the cardiology specialty department.
The Position:
Only every other weekend
3 Schedule options
Option 1: 8 Emergency receiving shifts (day, swing), 4-6 shifts in a specialty department (cardiology) per 4 weeks-- Compensation $120,000
Option 2: 8 Overnight shifts, 4-6 shifts in a specialty department (cardiology) per 4 weeks – Compensation $160,000
Option 3: 6 Overnight shifts, 4-6 shifts in specialty department (cardiology) per 4 weeks – Compensation $120,000
3 weeks PTO

We are a 36,000 sq ft, premier VECCS level 1 emergency and specialty hospital located 11 miles north of Boston
Excellent technician staffing with a highly skilled nursing staff
ER staffed on average with 10 experienced doctors in a 24-hour period
Average ER doctor tenure of 5+ years
7 day a week specialty services from internal medicine, surgery, neurology, radiology and critical care for collaboration and consulting on cases
Robust House Officer Program in Surgery, Neurology, Radiology including several interns and residents
