At Brooklyn Roots our main goals are to practice really good medicine and surgery and to enjoy coming to work every day.   And when the hospital staff is happy it translates to happy clients.   As GP's we also love being good at the whole range of what veterinary medicine can be.  Our carefully curated staff of Doctors and Nurses excel at Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency, Dental and even Ultrasound.  This is no joke.  Back when we started there were hardly any referral centers- so we got good at what we needed to be good at.  We are looking for an associate, either full or part-time, who enjoys getting elbow deep into patient care and/or who want to be mentored by skilled practitioners and grow.

BRVH was built from the ground up by real people with combined decades of experience in the trenches. It continues to be run by those same real people.  This is important to mention in this day and age of corporate veterinary medicine.  We are privately owned.  We see a wide range of cases- from routine puppy and kitten care to big and interesting internal medicine and surgery cases.  We have all the bells and whistles that you need, we offer a great compensation package (and solid mentorship if you are a newer grad).  What we want most is a veterinarian whose capabilities and ideals are in alignment with ours, and who might be looking for a long term home.  Newer grads, as well as more experienced candidates are welcomed to apply.
