TTA Pet Services (OBT-Pet Doc Hospital) is hiring a skilled veterinarian with experience examining small animals, diagnosing illnesses, and determining animal health.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be bilingual in Spanish and English.
Have a Florida State Veterinarian License and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree.
The candidate should also have experience in prescribing and administering medication and treatments to cure or relieve injuries or diseases, as well as performing acupuncture.
Review results of laboratory tests on samples drawn (blood, urine, feces, skin scrapes) to diagnose animals.
Inoculate animals against various diseases, such as rabies or distemper.
Educate animal owners about: diseases and infections that are transferable from animals to humans, sanitary measures, feeding, general care, medical conditions, or treatment options.
Perform euthanasia's on animals.
Oversee and direct Veterinary Technician in preparing and administering medications, vaccines, and treatments.
Direct and supervise Veterinary Technician during surgery in administering, and monitoring, anesthesia to animals.
Direct and supervise Veterinary Technician performing dental cleanings on animals.
Communicate detailed medical information to patient’s family members in Spanish and English.
Administer First Aid in case of emergencies, such as emergency resuscitation or other life saving measures.
Operate diagnostic equipment, such as radiographic or ultrasound equipment, and interpret the resulting images.
Ensure compliance with veterinary procedures, ethics, policies, and relevant statutes.
Maintain animal treatment and visit records.
Perform surgeries on animals as needed.
Perform any manual procedure for the diagnosis of or treatment for pregnancy or fertility or infertility of animals.
Advanced knowledge on veterinary terminology
Perform acupuncture on animals based on condition diagnosed.

Knowledge on veterinary Acupuncture.
Experience more than five 5 years working with small animals clinics preference.
