We pride ourselves on offering medical care tailored to the needs of our clients and patients while educating our clients on how to be empowered pet owners. Our staff is proud of our friendly, fun and cohesive work environment.
We see a diverse range of medical and surgical cases. Our doctors are supported by multiple certified veterinary technicians that also function independently to run their own client appointments, including vaccine boosters, lab tests and radiology.
You will be able to quickly establish your client base, as we currently have high demand from new clients that want to establish with our facility. We welcome all experience levels, including new or recent graduates, as we will provide customized mentorship as needed. And if you are skilled in ultrasonography you will have plenty of opportunity to apply your talents for various patients.
Plover is located just outside of the college town of Stevens Point in central Wisconsin. The area has a hometown feel that encourages the buy-local mentality. You will enjoy the scenic Wisconsin River, an abundance of county parks, and the many activities the area provides for all seasons. From nearby dog training facilities to scenic horse riding trails, you will always have access to places to keep you and your favorite four footed friend entertained. You are able to kayak and boat in summer, hit the ski slopes and snowmobile trails in winter, and hunt and fish year-round. In addition to a number of dog friendly breweries and unique restaurants, you can partake in the many farmer’s markets, festivals and community events. The area is low crime with quality schools and plenty of spousal employment opportunities. Plover is the perfect place to settle down and enjoy the small-town feel with big-city amenities.
We are centrally located as we are a one hour drive from Appleton, Oshkosh and Wausau; a two hour drive from Milwaukee, Madison, LaCrosse and EauClaire; a three plus hour drive from Chicago and Minneapolis.
