Carolina Veterinary Critical Care is a privately owned and operated veterinary hospital providing after hours and weekend emergency services to the Bluffton, Hilton Head and surrounding areas.

We provide comprehensive emergency care including examinations, full in house laboratory evaluation, digital radiographic and ultrasound imaging, 24 hour hospitalization and surgery.

We are seeking 2 motivated, compassionate, and personable emergency clinicians with strong communication skills who are eager to join a team of doctors and technicians committed to a fresh culture base in teamwork, a positive work environment and a commitment to providing high quality emergency medicine to an affluent and very supportive community of animal lovers.

Compensation is comprised of a competitive shift base or production, whichever is greater.  Sign on bonus and moving assistance, medical benefits, 401k with match, licensure and fees as well as a generous CE stipend will be provided.  Internship training is a plus, as well as emergency experience, though all applications will be considered.

Mentorship will be available at all hours.

Average caseload allows on average 4-6 hours of sleep per shift.  Must be licensed to practice in the state of South Carolina prior to the start of employment.

Bluffton, South Carolina is a rapidly growing Lowcountry community teeming with culture, amazing restaurants, beaches, arts and festivals, low crime rate and an abundance of outdoor opportunities.  A very family oriented community, Bluffton is an excellent place to raise children with outstanding public and private schools.

Looking to the future, we are in the process of developing a full scope 24 hour emergency and specialty clinic including internal medicine, surgery, oncology, dermatology and ophthalmology. Once our new facility is open, weekday shifts will also become available.
