Position: Associate Veterinarian
Location: 10908 Burbank Blvd, North Hollywood, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and provide accurate diagnoses for a variety of companion animals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on medical assessments.
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and ensure post-operative care and monitoring.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technology to aid in patient evaluation and treatment.
- Educate pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, and overall animal well-being.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of medical conditions and treatment options.
- Collaborate with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Adhere to hospital policies and maintain accurate medical records.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in California or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong knowledge of companion animal medicine, including diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Commitment to practicing high-quality medicine and delivering compassionate care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a diverse caseload.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
