Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough physical examinations and provide accurate diagnoses for a variety of companion animals.
Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on medical assessments.
Perform surgical procedures with precision and ensure post-operative care and monitoring.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technology to aid in patient evaluation and treatment.
Educate pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, and overall animal well-being.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of medical conditions and treatment options.
Collaborate with a team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Adhere to hospital policies and maintain accurate medical records.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Valid license to practice veterinary medicine in California or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong knowledge of companion animal medicine, including diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Commitment to practicing high-quality medicine and delivering compassionate care.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a diverse caseload.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
