Cocheco Veterinary Hospital is a family-owned and oriented practice located in Farmington, New Hampshire. Our location has nearby lakes, hiking, snow skiing, dog and horse skijoring.

We have a full-time (Four-day work week), and Part-time openings for an associate veterinarian to help with our daily cases and surgeries. This is a great entry-level position with amazing mentorship, support staff, and room for growth.

 The contract includes 50% paid health insurance, paid liability insurance, paid License fee, $500.00 continuing education, up to three weeks paid vacation, two paid personal Days.

Our Hospital is equipped with three exam rooms, Digital records, digital radiology, double surgical suite, a dental machine, a dental X-Ray, an in-house lab, grooming room. full kitchen and 1.5 bath. Shared access to Esaote MRI and neurologist.

wellness appointments are scheduled in 20-minute increments. Sick appointments are scheduled in 40-minute increments. Each veterinarian has a technician to assist them. An additional technician is scheduled to float where needed. 

The associate must possess the mental and emotional health required for full
utilization of his or her intellectual abilities, the exercise of good judgment,  and the development of mature, sensitive, and effective relationships with clients and the health care team.
