About us:
No two days are the same when you work at Gentle Vet Animal Hospital. You will be both challenged and inspired as you help animals and clients. You’ll work on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine and develop your skills in ways you never could at a traditional practice. Our expert team of vets specializes in treating small animals, avian, and exotics! We see a large number of complicated dog and cat medical cases. We also service a local wildlife sanctuary and zoo. We would love to have another exotics trained DVM but it is not required for this position.
Gentle Vet Animal Hospital has established itself in the Green Bay, WI community since the 1970s as a full-service veterinary hospital. We continue to grow and thrive in this community by providing kind and compassionate animal care. Due to our growth, you'll get to enjoy a brand-new hospital building by February 2024!
Our team members enjoy strong mentorship, a supportive work environment, and a passionate, energetic team. We think you’ll thrive at Gentle Vet if you want to practice advanced medicine while enjoying a fun team culture. We are consistently striving for excellence and are proud to have received ‘Low-Stress Handling Silver Certification’ in 2012, again in 2015, and 2022!

We are a small animal hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We work hard as a team to provide noticeably better care and service focusing on medicine cases and some surgery. Wellness is important too but we focus on tough cases. We also strive to raise the level and quality of medicine provided to exotic pets, wildlife, and zoo animals. We service a city-owned wildlife sanctuary and wildlife rehabilitation network and we assist with the care of the NEW zoo. We want our team to have a great work experience and as a result the team will then give the clients and pets a great experience. If all goes well we'll be moving into a brand new hospital by 2024!
