Lakeland College’s Vermilion campus boasts our student managed farm & cutting-edge animal health clinic where students benefit from hands-on experience with animals.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering curriculum on subjects such as Pharmacology, Animal Nursing, Surgery, Dentistry, Anesthesia & Animal Diseases.
Leading classroom, labs, & field trips.
Developing & evaluating assessments.
Employing innovative teaching methods, active learning, & student engagement strategies.
Engaging in program & departmental meetings.
Job Requirements
Registration as a DVM in good standing with the ABVMA.
A minimum of 3 years of industry experience with both large & small animals.
Proficiency in essential Microsoft Applications & a familiarity with Avimark is advantageous.
Strong verbal & written communication skills.
Capability to present information professionally & facilitate engaging discussions.
Commitment to collaboration & professional accountability.
