A $5,000 signing bonus after 6 months of employment with CKVS.
Preferred Education:
DVM or equivalent
Central Kentucky Veterinary Services is a well-established, private family owned; small animal hospital located 20 minutes northeast of the city of Lexington. CKVS is a full-service small animal clinic offering our clients vet care, overnight boarding and daycare with our kennel attendant staff, and grooming with 2 full-time groomers. Dr. Hardy Dungan opened CKVS as a brick-and-mortar hospital in 2005. Prior to that, Dr. Dungan was a large animal mobile vet for reproductive work with thoroughbred horses and cattle. In 2004, Dr. Dungan had the opportunity to obtain a well-established clinic and wanted the addition of offering services for small companion animals for his community. In 2019, we completed construction of the clinic's additional exam rooms to meet the ever-growing demand to serve our community. Six exam rooms were added, as well as a comfort room for end-of-life services and administrative office.
We are looking for a full-time veterinarian who will complement our increasing practice demand. We are service centered and develop strong relationships with our clientele through constant communication and care. Our current one-doctor practice provides comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We offer competitive pay commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer flexible scheduling, no on-call or emergency hours, generous benefits including PTO, a health insurance package, and a robust CE program, in addition to a $5,000 signing bonus after 6 months of employment to jumpstart your career with us.
