Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant (Experienced) — Loveland, CO
Looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant to guide patient care with autonomy and confidence. In our clinic, Technicians and Assistants are empowered to lead client communication, case management, and clinical planning. Primary Responsibilities
Appointments
Oversee the entire appointment process
Lead patient intake, assessments, and diagnostics
Collaborate with doctors to develop and adjust treatment plans
Perform diagnostics and treatments
Educate clients clearly on diagnosis, treatments, and medications
Manage prescriptions and maintain accurate medical records
Surgery & Dentistry
Assist with general, oral, and dental procedures
Monitor anesthesia and ensure patient safety
Perform dental radiographs, ultrasonic scaling, and polishing
Deliver high-quality pre- and post-operative care
Complete accurate surgical notes, anesthesia logs, and dental charts
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a veterinary clinical setting
Proficient in essential clinical skills such as IV placement, blood draws, medication administration, and surgical assistance
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lift 40 pounds and stay active during shifts
Detail-oriented with reliable record-keeping

Schedule:
4 10-hour shifts per week

Education:
RVT Certification not required
Experience:
Veterinary Technician/Assistant Experience: 2+ years preferred
